Thursday, September 11th, 2008 - (PA) Rally on the River: Sep 11-14
|
PA Rally on the River: (September 11-14) This is our 4th annual fall event, held 2 weekends in September. The party is still going strong at the PA Rally on the River in Northumberland, PA along the Susquehanna River.
Held on a private campground there are 100's of full hook up sites for your RV or trailer and lots of rustic tent sites. Stay where the party is and avoid a DUI or being hassled by the police. The campground also has 39 cabins complete with AC/heat and full bathrooms and several large bathhouses with lots of hot showers. If you are looking for a large dusty field with no facilities, this is NOT the party for you!
For your enjoyment there are two large heated swimming pools and a 30 person inground hot tub. Bathing suits are optional. There is also a large covered entertainment complex with stage for your listening and dancing pleasure. The weekend is rounded out with lots of vendors, bike rodeo and naughty adult contests.
This rally will run two weekends, Sept 4-7 and Sept 11-14, 2008.

Friday, September 12th, 2008 - (PA) Barnstorm Weekend: Sep. 12-14

Friday, after checking in, will start with fun & excitement at the Opening Reception. (Sponsored by Lancaster H-D). Live entertainment, food vendors, and more. Lancaster City will host an outdoor movie in Binns Park w/ fireworks later in the evening.
Saturday, the first full day of Barnstorm Weekend, self-guided rides will take you past sites of interest, through covered bridges and around one of the most historic areas in PA. We'll offer suggested tour routes for the day, as well as a Lancaster Motorcycle Dealers Poker Run. Wrap up your day with a night game of the Lancaster Barnstormers Baseball. Participants may have a chance to ride across the field in the Parade of Bikes.
Sunday morning begins with another selection of great rides and ends at the downtown festival of 'Wheels, Wheels, Wheels:.. where a complimentary chicken-bar-b-que will be available.
For the entire weekend participants will have free access to the Matthew LInton (www.ArtBiker.com) photography exhibit at the Lancaster Museum of Art.
Pre-Registration is required for participation in all events.

The Nam Knights is a Motorcycle club made up of American Veterans of all wars and Law Enforcement with a few special and dedicated 'civilians'. Our mission is to honor the memory of American Veterans and Police Officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, and to assist Veterans and Po;ice Officers in their time of need.
On the menu we have: Hot Dogs,Hamburgers,Pork Roll, Bratwurst,Italian Sausage w/ pepper & onions, Corn on the Cob, German Potato Salad, Bake Beans, Saurkruat, Ice Cream, Coffee,Beer,Soda, & Water. There will be Vendors a Trophy for the best Rep Club, Chinese Auctions, 50/50. Live Music by the Stubby Phillip Band.

The Macungie Rod and Gun Club
1st annual ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Poker Run on September 13, 2008 with a rain date of September 14, 2008.
Enjoy a 70 mile ride through the PA Dutch countryside. Following the ride, enjoy food, fun and refreshments at the Macungie Rod and Gun Club, 65 Lea Street, Macungie.
